Using Acrylic Paint in Art Journaling...
Hello!
Acrylic paint is a staple item for me when it comes to art journaling and with so many brands, colors and consistencies it can be overwhelming to choose. I roll with my favorite colors but I am especially crushing on Martha Stewart and Amsterdam paints at the moment.
Ideas for using acrylic paint in your art journal:
•Scrape paint onto the blank page for a base.
•Add a little water to make a wash.
•Ink up your rubber stamps.
•Finger paint elements to the page.
•Doodle with a fine tip brush.
•Monoprinting - add to a piece or paper and spread around, turn over onto page and press.
I incorporated all these ideas into my page this week. What is your favorite way to use acrylics?
