Monoprinting in Art Journaling
Hello!
Years ago I received my first Gelli Art® Gel Printing Plate and remember thinking, “What do I do with this?” Now, it is more like, “What can’t I do with this?” When it comes to art supplies this tool has become indispensable to me. I use it for so many things, including creating quick backgrounds on things like paper, tags, envelopes and fabric.
For my page this week, I used the Gelli® plate to create a background on a piece of newsprint paper and then I glued it to the base of my journal page. I followed up with doodles, stencils, stickers and scribbles.
If you are interested in exploring the many uses for the Gelli® plate, check out my new on-line workshop called Printmaker Pro: Press, Stitch & Stash and see what other students are saying!
Have a blessed day!
