Storytelling in Art Journaling
My story this week is a focus on special moments that took place during the year. While the words are not exactly a focus of my page and keeping with this month’s theme, I felt my photos needed to be front and center in telling my story. I added my photos to Art Pops™ Cards and journaled on the back. I assembled them by sewing tabs to the top, attaching them to my page in a graduated stacked format so I can lift them and “read” the story on the back of each one.
As this year comes to a close I want to thank all of you for a your support, encouragement and kind words. So many e-mails arrived in my in box at just the right moment! I truly appreciate the sweet comments, mail art and all the conversations we’ve had. Thanks for making this year wonderful and I hope you have been inspired by all the weekly DLP challenges…I know you have inspired me! In case you missed any, I have featured them all later in this post.
While I won’t be participating in DLP 2016, I will be around. For starters, I will be launching a brand new art journaling course early in the year and a brand new (totally awesome) workshop site where all my workshops will find their new home. I can’t wait to reveal it soon and there will be a free class to kick things off!
