Hidden Places in Art Journaling

I had an idea for my page this week but it went in a totally different direction and I love when that happens!  There are many ways to "hide" your journaling and for mine I chose to tuck a tag into a pocket.

The pocket is a page torn from an Anthropologie catalog and taped on one side.  I glued a flower element to the bottom to finish off the page and that added the extra security to hold the tag in place.

1. Tear and glue an assortment of papers to a page. Stitch randomly to a loose page.

2. Glue page into journal and add a folded flap of paper and secure edge with washi tape.

3. Add final paper elements and then splatter with black paint.

4. Finish page by adding photo, stickers and washi tape.  Add a journal card to a black tag and tuck into the pocket to "hide" journaling.
