A new website

When I set out to update and redesign my website, I had an idea of what I wanted.  The process is a creative one and I followed some of the guidelines out there that would help make the process a smooth one.  But, I also wanted to break out of the norm and truly make my site feel like "me" and my personality.

I started by creating a mood board on Pinterest. This really helped me get an idea of the colors, fonts, patterns and icons that I was drawn to.  Interestingly, these ended up being the same as those found in my own artwork.

Next, I set out to choose my colors, fonts and design my logo.  Once completed, I created my branding board.

Too Close to see

Sometimes we are just too close to something...so close that we can't see.  I felt that way about my new website.  It was time to bring in a fresh perspective.  I found that in Chelsea with 23&9 Creative.  She took my branding board and my wish list and designed the perfect website for "me!"  She truly captured exactly what I wanted and I so thankful!

"You're awesome, Chelsea!  Not only as a designer but as a person and I'm so glad I found you!"

What's New?

Thanks so much for all the support and encouragement you have sent my way over the last few months.  There has certainly been a lot of changes.

For years, I have been helping makers and artists just like you with the tech side of starting a business and sharing their art online. Now, I am stepping out of the shadows to make this a reality for everyone.

I am calling it Maker's Tech U and if you have been searching for creative solutions to your technology challenges, this is for U!  In an ever-changing social media landscape, assisting you with the tech hurdles so you can put your art out into the world with ease, efficiency and confidence is my goal.

Maker's Tech U is a membership site format designed to help you get the most out of the training.  A variety of topics will be covered, with new content added regularly.  With access to me via a private group, you will be able to ask questions and get help and support from me as well as your peers.

I have a passion for helping other makers and artists to overcome those tech struggles and I hope you will join me!

Makers' Tech U is where makers master the tech!
