Mixed Media Abstract Painting Demo on Sketch Paper
One Piece of Paper: Four Pieces of Art
For most of The 100 Day Project, I painted on large pieces of sketchbook paper. My favorite is the Canson 50 lb. Sketchbook 18 x 24”. It makes a great paper for cleaning brushes and just having on your table to catch all the paint and other drips and practice marks.
I hope you enjoy this video where I filmed most of the process of creating four of the pieces from my 100 Day Project. Once completed, I cut parts out of these big sheets and then fine tune each one to finish the art piece. These were all adhered to old book covers.
