Creating small to generate big ideas
It was the first day of The 100 Day Project and I still had no clue what I wanted my βactionβ to be. Last year, my idea came so easily and this yearβ¦nothing. So what did I do? Nothing! I didnβt stress over it and decided that if an idea came, I would just start late.
As luck would have it, all it took was just getting into the studio, watching Hallmark Movies and munching on Pringles. Well, maybe not the Pringles part, but you get it. This year I am working small and not limiting myself to a specific project. Last year I did 100 Days of Layered Pieces and while I loved doing them, I think this year I need more flexibility.
100 Days of Working Small will allow me to create a host of goodies from little books to mail art and collages to abstract paintings.
More than likely, this process will inspire a big idea that will then launch into a course or another fun project to pursue in the new year! I am looking forward to seeing what happens!
