Art Journaling with Deli Paper

This week we are challenged with using deli paper in our art journals!  I keep a stash of painted deli paper and use pieces of them in my collage work.  For this page, I decided to glue a full piece to my page after first adhering assorted text papers.  I like the text and writing peeking through the deli paper.  Next, I created my “journaling” on my computer and printed it onto a piece of deli paper that I taped to a piece of card stock with double sided tape (be sure to check that your printer can handle this otherwise you might get a jam).  You can hand write your journaling onto the deli paper as well and once it is glued down it blends into the background which is one thing I really like about deli paper.

How will you use deli paper this week?

I finished the page by gluing down the journal printed deli paper and scribbling around it with a pencil.
